We worked on a Strategic Framework and programming for the City of Toronto’s Year of Public Art that supported over 1400 artists in the creation of more than 300 new works. This Strategy built and fostered new partnerships across arts, government and public sector, and expanded opportunities for artists and audiences.

We curated, organized, coordinated, and hosted 10 ArtworxTO Talks in the Live @ 5 series. The series focused on the important intersection of art and health/wellness, exploring how art can better us and our society, and touching on a variety of overarching issues within public art practices today. We examined 5 themes over 10 events:

Art and Emerging from the Pandemic

Community-Building and Wellness through the Arts

All Access (accessibility)

Defining a Monument Landscape for the Future

Setting the table

We brought together a brillant roster of 40 different speakers, including artists, curators, and prominent figures in the Canadian art scene. The talks were held virtually, recorded and can be seen at the ArtworxTO: On Demand Media Library.
